Hitoaki Minami (南 人彰) - Shakkin Oh Official SEGA interviews have listed Super Daisenryaku (MD, 1989) and Advanced Daisenryaku (MD, 1991) as being designed by him. Both games credit a variation of this alias as such.

Chieko Aoki (青木 千恵子) - Otegami Chie (お手紙チエちゃん), Chiemushi Left Sega after getting married. Earned her nickname because she would always personally respond to fan letters.

Tsukasa Mori (森 司) - Sakatsu Rimo Simply the hiragana for his name spelled backwards (さかつりも).

Atsutoshi Takahashi (高橋 敦俊) - Tonsyun? Alternate reading of his given name.

Matsuhide Mizoguchi (??) - Mizoran?

Minoru Kanari (金成 貫) - Will Cane?

Noriyoshi Oba (大場 規勝) - The "Over", The Alive, Wanta/Wanter? Joined Sega in 1987, and was the project lead for the Super Shinobi and Streets of Rage series. Wanter/Wanta is yet unconfirmed. The studio name "Overworks" is a play on his name (Ōbaworks).

Koichi Nagata (永田 浩一) - Papa? There's a "Papa Koichi" credited on Alex Kidd in Miracle World (SMS, 1986). Nagata is said to have been the second-in-command of AM2 as late as 1990 (lines up with MD Rent-a-Hero) and later wound up in charge of CS4 which was created to do 32X software. Hard to discern as the credits to "Papa" are a mix of art, programming, and thanks.

Masaki Segawa (せがわ まさき) - Masa (雅), ??? Did character and monster design for Phantasy Star 3, along with the cover art. Now works as a manga artist. Did he ever actually *work* for Sega, or was he just a freelancer? Supposedly did the large ninja illustration when you lose the bonus game in AC Shinobi, and some of the story images in PS3 look like his work as well (confirmed: his signature can be clearly seen in the original paintings).

Kazuyuki Shibata (柴田 和幸) - Chaotic Kaz, Kaz the Werewolf, ??? Said in a 1993 interview that he worked on Phantasy Star 1 & 2, Pyramid Magic (!), and Surging Aura (!?) among others... Doesn't give a specific name he used.

Chie Yoshida (吉田 千恵) - Chie sama?, Chieriita? Well-known? Need to check this one...

Daisuke Yamamoto (山本 大輔) - DSK? Seems like a reasonable guess and the time-frame matches up, but I'm not 100% sure yet...

double check

Koki Sadamori (貞森 康毅) - 3712 SK Has specifically stated he joined Sega in 1986 working as an artist on Master System games, with Space Harrier being the first.

Junichi Tsuchiya (土屋 淳一) - J. Yatsuchi, Jun Tsu Chi, Jun Izy, J.T? Really, really obvious aliases here. Used several variations throughout the Pro Striker series, and J.Yatsuchi on MD Crying which shares several other staff.

Ho-Gang Lee (李 浩康) - Hiroyasu Lee, Mr.Lee Name confirmed through a Japanese patent listing.
