The King of Fighters 2002 (ザ・キング・オブ・ファイターズ2002) is the ninth installment of The King of Fighters series, which was originally released on the Neo Geo arcade hardware by SNK. The Sega Dreamcast version of the game was only released in Japan on June 2003. It was the last game in the series to be officially released for a Sega console.
