I Will: The Story of London is a Sega Mega LD full motion video educational graphic adventure game developed by CRC Research Institute and published by Pioneer Electronic Corp. A launch title for the Pioneer LaserActive[5], the game was first released in Japan in August 1993, and was later brought to the United States the following December.

Plot

I Will: The Story of London 's overworld.

Dr. Ozone's large-area ozone generator has been stolen just before its presentation at an upcoming international scientific conference, and he has tasked the player with retrieving it. Alongside his assistant Catherine, and with help from a number of characters met along the journey, players explore various parts of London in an attempt to solve the mystery.

Gameplay

I Will: The Story of London is an educational graphic adventure game based around full-motion video presentations on both the history of the British city of London and its various scenic points of interest. The first side of the LaserDisc contains the actual game software, and the second side contains an extended educational video tour of Britain; players are encouraged to use the knowledge gained by watching the tour to assist them in locating the stolen ozone generator.

History

Development

During development, the game appears to have gone under the working title of Ozone, planned for both Mega LD and LD-ROM².[6][7] However, the latter version was cancelled, and the game was renamed I Will: The Story of London for the final release.
