Slug Dispenser (スラッグディスペンサー) is a change machine released by Sega in the 1970s. It converts normal currency into medals, which can then be used in medal games. The machine calls itself Medal Kashidashi-ki (メダル貸出機) but was always "Slug Dispenser" when bought and sold.
A pre-installed "Medal Out Adapter Box" for Slug Dispenser machines could be acquired for an additional ¥20,000 when purchasing the cabinet from Sega Enterprises.[1]
