The tentatively titled Tectoy Rating System was a video game content rating system put in place by Sega's Brazilian distributor, Tectoy for rating games in the early 1990s. Similar to Sega of America's Videogame Rating Council or Sega of Japan's SEGA Rating, the Tectoy Rating System was only applied to games distributed by Sega/Tectoy in Brazil. It also appeared on several Portuguese covers.

The system was phased out by the end of the 1990s, inevitably replaced by the Departamento de Justiça, Classificação, Títulos e Qualificação ratings. DJCTQ is still in use today, and covers all platforms in that region.

At the time of writing, it is unknown exactly how the rating system worked, or what its official name was. Below is an educated guess.

Tectoy 13.svg 13 anos (13 years) - Games given this rating are only appropriate for those aged above 13.
Tectoy 18.svg 18 anos (18 years) - Games given this rating are only appropriate for those aged above 18.

During the system's later years, Tectoy added 6 (Astal), 14 (Street Fighter Collection), 16 (Riven: The Sequel to Myst) and 17 (The House of the Dead) ratings. Few games would deviate from the original system before Tectoy's games adopted the DJCTQ system.
