Goal!
Mr. Andlabs, I don't think this game is unreleased... but I don't know what your source is.
There is a game called Goal! for the Amiga. It's made by Dino Dini, who has a history of making football games. I think it was set to come to the Mega Drive, but was souped up along the way, turning up as Dino Dini's Soccer. Wikipedia seems to think the Amiga and Mega Drive games are pretty different - I don't know if that's true.
Anyway Mean Machines Sega #26 calls the game "Dino Dini's Goal!" which I'm guessing was a working title. Thing is, none of these games were touched by Psygnosis - they were all published by Virgin. So maybe there's another football game called Goal!? (unless, as is more likely, its a misprint)
This sort of awkwardness isn't new - Kick Off 2 (also made by Dino Dini) became Super Kick Off on the MD. -Black Squirrel 13:52, 4 November 2012 (CST)
- I didn't add that (Rotmostraedet did), though I guess that opens the question of whether or not a Goal! leftover is in Dino Dini's Soccer... As I mentioned, this page needs some clean-up; I intended on doing it once I found all of the games GDRI listed as unreleased (I should probably do that now). First to go is that color-coding thing, which in retrospect wasn't particularly a good idea (especially since there are a lot of these) - Andlabs 14:23, 4 November 2012 (CST)
these lists
I think this page (and the others like it) may have out-lived their purpose. As a centralised table of every unreleased game it's incomplete, and keeping it alive means twice as much maintenance.
It's much better as a tool for telling us which pages need to be made, but the end game should probably be to remove it, and refer to the category instead.
Any objections to me trimming this so that it only lists pages we haven't done/sources we haven't linked up to yet? -Black Squirrel (talk) 14:15, 16 January 2016 (CST)
