vbSMS is a Sega Master System and Game Gear emulator for Windows, developed by John "brom" Casey in 2006. It was written in Visual Basic, hence the "vb" in the name. Development did not extend beyond the beta stage, with the emulator lacking sound, having only partial Game Gear emulation and no proper GUI.

A follow-up emulator was developed from the vbSMS source code by Kevin "olaf" Miller called Zega Alpha (originally olafsms and later vbSMS+).
