Tokyo International Airport, Haneda
Sega's corporate headquarters have been located on the same patch of land for over 50 years - a short distance away from Haneda Airport. It is suspected that at some point in the early 1990s the original building was demolished, and replaced with Sega's current home.
Sega began construction on a "second Tokyo building" in 1969[1], completing in 1970[2].
Sega later expanded into a building across the street, which became somewhat of an icon, proudly showing a Sega logo until 2013, when the land was sold and the building demolished in favour of a new structure appearing in the following year.
Sega also bought the building next door to their headquarters. This remains in use.
A further building, roughly ten minutes walk away North, was reportedly purchased from former electronics giant Akai in 1996, becoming yet another base for R&D. Sega sold this land in 2013 and the building has since been demolished.
