Tecmo, Inc. was a video game development company founded in 1967 as Tehkan Ltd. (which it used until 1986). It has seen successes with its Dead or Alive, Fatal Frame, Gallop Racer, Monster Rancher, Ninja Gaiden and sports series.

Tecmo merged with Koei to form Tecmo Koei in 2009. Though the Tecmo brand was still in use in 2009, it was dropped the following year.
