Freetron, also known as Freetron Group Ltd and later as Freetron Technologies Ltd, was a video game accessory manufacturer founded in 1988 in Hong Kong as Freetron (Far East) Company Ltd (also stylized as Freetroncom Ltd.[3]).

In 2006[4] the company shifted its business focus to consumer electronic products operating five factories[4] in Mainland China, and only three years after, in 2009, the company filed for bankruptcy and was ultimately dissolved in 2012.
