UNIPACC (ユニパック) was a Japanese video game publisher and likely division of fellow publisher Varie.[1] After producing and publishing the Sega Mega Drive horizontal shoot-'em-up XDR in August 1990, the company soon went out of business.

Company

Closely related to fellow Japanese publisher Varie, UNIPACC was comprised mostly of Varie staff, and was very likely a division of that company. When UNIPACC was interviewed for an XDR promotional feature, the two employees interviewed are also thought to have been Varie staff. Additionally, XDR was released with the same UPC prefix as Varie's other games.[1]
