Yonezawa (ヨネザワ) was a Japanese toy manufacturer and video game publisher which owned the game publishing label Yonezawa PR21 (also known as Party Room 21.)

Company

Yonezawa produced and published video games for the Nintendo Family Computer and Nintendo Super Famicom during the 1980s and 1990s (particularly active from 1989 to 1994), with their most notable titles being the Family Computer title Battle Storm and the Super Famicom title Super Hockey '94.

The company was also once considered to publish the 1993 Sega R&D2-developed Sega Mega Drive racing combat game Metal Fangs, and an unused copyright notice for Yonezawa remains in the game's code.[1]

In 1994, Yonezawa was acquired by Sega and became Sega Yonezawa.
