Studio Ducks was an internal video game development team of Zap.
Company
When the NEC PC Engine horizontal shoot-'em-up Dead Moon was languishing in production at Zap, an internal development team named Studio Ducks was either formed to finish the project, or previously existed as the company's development team and decided to credit themselves under the new name (with further speculation that the team somehow separated from Zap entirely.[1] Later, Studio Ducks developed the Sega Mega Drive vertical shoot-'em-up Twinkle Tale, again produced by Zap, confirming the group did remain connected to its parent company for at least some time afterwards.
Whether or not Studio Ducks remained entirely affiliated with Zap, or even the extent of that affiliation, is unknown.
