SING!! Sega Game Music Presented by B.B. Queens is a hybrid Sega Mega-CD/music album; the disc's first track is encoded not with audio, but instead an entire Mega Drive game: Teddy Boy Blues. A port of the titular 1985 Sega System 1 arcade game Teddy Boy Blues, it was previously released exclusively on the Mega Drive's Sega Game Toshokan online game service, and is notably presented here alongside the original 1985 pop single which the original game is themed around, Teddy Boy Blues. Additionally, the song is used as the first choice of selectable background music during gameplay, finally allowing Teddy Boy Blues to be played with the music it was originally associated with.
SegaSonic Bros.
The song "Funky Brothers" was intended to be the image song (the Western equivalent to a theme song) for the upcoming Sega System C2 arcade puzzle game SegaSonic Bros.; the project was far enough in development to both receive numerous location tests, and to have "Funky Brothers" published on an officially Sega-licensed soundtrack release. Ultimately, the game was never released, and the song was never properly attributed to being Sonic-related until the modern era, when a prototype of the game was dumped in 2016 and subsequently leaked two years later.
