Studio Fazzy Co., Ltd. was a Japanese unlicensed adult video game developer, most known for the relatively-high production values of their two known Sega Mega Drive titles.
Company
Unlike the majority of unlicensed video game developers, Studio Fazzy was based in Japan, and its games were only released domestically. Additionally, while many unlicensed developers purposefully abstain from crediting themselves for fear of legal retaliation, Studio Fazzy plainly listed its address in the manual of its 1992 Sega Mega Drive game Divine Sealing.[1]
Cartridge design
Both Studio Fazzy's games feature the same cartridge design, appearing similar in shape to Sunsoft's rounded Mega Drive cartridges but with the lower section of each side removed. The extra clearance afforded by the cartridge's slimmer lower half allows it to be inserted into any Mega Drive system, regardless of region or shell.
