Development
Dial Q o Mawase! bases much of its code, design, and appearance from the 1989 Whiteboard game Mahjong Cop Ryuu: Hakurou no Yabou, and utilizes the Cube/Noriyuki Iwadare sound driver.
Cartridge design
Both Studio Fazzy's games (Dial Q o Mawase! and Divine Sealing) feature the same cartridge design, appearing similar in shape to Sunsoft's rounded Mega Drive cartridges but with the lower section of each side removed. The extra clearance afforded by the cartridge's slimmer lower half allows it to be inserted into any Mega Drive system, regardless of region or shell.
