*Was there an intended screen size for this board? Was it meant to display on multiple screen sizes? Basically, is there a proper resolution future uploaded screenshots should be captured at? When compared to images of ''Dottori Kun'' being played on physical arcade cabinets, it seems the vertical resolution in the new screenshots looks fine... but the horizontal resolution is either incorrect, or may be dependent on the size of the screen? And does this mean we have to determine which cabinet/screen size the game would have appeared in the most/is the most associated with, and then crop/retake screenshots to that resolution? *The existing screenshots we have are accurate in that they were captured from real hardware and at the correct aspect ratio, and retain the proper border sizing. In this case, actual image resolution isn't an issue considering its multi-cabinet usage. Unfortunately, significant technical issues in capturing accurate screenshots from real hardware has resulted in some lost pixels. It appears ''Dottori Kun'' is emulatable to some extent... if possible, we should use the existing screenshots as a guide for capturing clean emulated versions with the same ratio/border/sizing/etc.

To do

  • The law that created this game produced similar games by other arcade cabinet-manufacturing game companies. It would be neat to know their names, as we could write in a section showing that Dottori Kun's inception wasn't a singular thing.
  • ROM variations: An older one with a white background and black text/objects, and a newer inverted one. The newer features more tests, see here.
