Action Replay CDX: Demo Version is a cut-down version of the Action Replay CDX boot disc, containing a small handful of cheats for Sega Dreamcast games. It was bundled with issue #11 of the UK Dreamcast magazine, DC-UK.

The disc is infamous because, as a boot disc, it allows Dreamcast users to play games from any region. While not unique in this regard, being bundled for free with a £2.95 nationwide magazine with a circulation in the tens of thousands, this move upset Sega Europe to the point where they blacklisted DC-UK, restricting access to preview and review material. DC-UK's editorial staff were unaware of this vulnerability at the time, and had to rely on contacts in the US and Japan (as well as third-party publishers) to get content for the magazine[2].
