Midway Studios San Diego, later known as THQ San Diego, was an American video game developer most known for the 1999 powerboat racing arcade game Hydro Thunder, and for developing a number of home ports of popular arcade games.

Founded in 1994 and officially incorporated in 1997, Midway Studios San Diego was created in 1994 from the acquisition and merger of American video game companies Tradewest and Leland Corporation.
