Sega logo ™ symbol
While not released in Japan, code exists to remove the ™ symbol from the introductory Sega logo if the game detects it is being played on a Japanese system.
Edit stats
On the character selection screen, press . If entered correctly, there should be a cheer.
Now by holding , and can be used to adjust character stats (with and being used to select a type).
