Hm. There's a 1994 on the manual. But the game was released in 1995 per the back of the box and actual copyrights etc. Hm. Could the game have been finished in (late?) 1994, and somehow didn't get around to actually being published until the following year? And I don't think it could be a case of the manuals somehow being created way earlier than actual production... maybe, but I find it more likely they had everything manufactured and assembled and packed, and somehow something delayed it actually getting to store shelves. Which... might hint at where Polar Technology comes in, but its still a little early for that.

These don't need to be in the article for any reason, just think its interesting anytime a company writes its game title four different ways.

Development schedule

CartridgeCulture (talk) 03:23, 7 October 2021 (EDT)

List of alternate game names

  • PGA Tour Golf II
  • PGA Golf
  • PGA Tour Golf
  • PGA Tour
  • Golf (working/proto title)

These don't need to be in the article for any reason, just think its interesting anytime a company writes its game title four different ways. CartridgeCulture (talk) 00:38, 8 October 2021 (EDT)

Rating

This is the only HeartBeat game that didn't receive a content rating. The rest of their games are GA, the original PGA Tour Golf II is GA, and it's a golf game. So we can assume it's GA. But it's not on the box. Is there anywhere else it might be listed? Would Sega of America even allow that?

Polar Technology

Was Polar Technology the publisher? Distributor? Manufacturer? I don't know. I don't think they're attached to any of the previous releases... this needs some research, it might help put together other pieces of this puzzle.
