Surfer (サーファー) is (presumably) an electro-mechanical arcade machine produced by Sega[1][2]. The object of the game is to launch a ball onto the playfield, which simulates a wavy sea, trying to survive the three waves and light the three white flags on the left by hitting them with the ball in order to win a pack of caramels as a prize (such as the pack of Milky®[3] seen in the official flyer[4], a popular brand of condensed milk candy[5][6] manufactured by Japanese confectionery company Fujiya Co. Ltd. since 1951[7]).
The cabinet could store approximately fifty packs of caramels with a size within the range of 13 cm x 6 cm to 7 cm x 4 cm[8].
