*Section about other interactive urinals, a very brief history of the idea, and most importantly the note that while all the rest of these were more or less art projects/experiments/etc, the Toylet was really the first that was like, an actual product. I mean its still kinda in the realm of like "limited release" etc, but this was the most legitimate push in this concept.

*Do Toylet games have... balance? I always assumed this was just like "make the software interactive to a point, and with a slight degree of varied input", but- do these games actually have designed balance and stuff? Like can you- "play" these games with skill? Obviously you can miss the target or get less than someone else, but is there a way to- urinate optimally but still perform poorly skill-wise? Do you have to learn any kind of gameplay mechanics to get- better at these? BASICALLY: Did someone go through the "higher levels" of this game and actually give consideration to the detailed balance? And if they did, to what degree?

==Change name to Toylets==

A lot of English sites that reported on the system named it Toylet, but that's pretty obviously not what it's indented to be called. If it were called トイレット (Toiretto), then that spells out Toylet, but it's called トイレッツ (Toirettsu). The website has it as toylets, and the assets for the game's entry on SEGA ARCADE GAME HISTORY also call it toylets. That seem alright? I almost moved the page, but maybe just the fact that English-speaking journalists called it Toylet is reason enough to keep it as such. If it does get changed, though, the articles should probably also be rewritten to use "Toylets" instead of "the Toylet".

:::I'm not really sure. ''Yakuza Kiwami 2'' has ''Toylets'' (even an English logo), so I suppose that's the best we've got for official terminology. As far as I know, it never calls it Toylet, just Toylets, even as a singular, e.g. "Toylets may be a urinal device, but promoting bathroom cleanliness is actually its key feature!" This task is unfinished
This is a wiki task that requires more thought or peer review. An important issue that needs to be solved, which will appear at the top of Sega Retro:Todo until this message is removed.

Category:Toylet games and Category:Toylet hardware need to have the word Toylet corrected to Toylets (with an s), but that involves correcting its name in whatever list is called by Bob and ConsoleBob. Once done, delete both old categories and create correctly-named ones.

Change name to Toylets

Nicolaas Hamman (talk) 11:24, 11 March 2023 (GMT+2)

I think you're right, it probably needs a name change. I'll go ahead and do the moves for this one :) Question though. What do you think we should use as a singular noun? Like to occasionally refer to a single piece of hardware? CartridgeCulture (talk) 00:26, 12 March 2023 (EST)
I'm not really sure. Yakuza Kiwami 2 has Toylets (even an English logo), so I suppose that's the best we've got for official terminology. As far as I know, it never calls it Toylet, just Toylets, even as a singular, e.g. "Toylets may be a urinal device, but promoting bathroom cleanliness is actually its key feature!"
