In order to establish consistency across Sega Retro, it has been decided that countries of the world should be dealt with in groups, or "regions":
Colour-coded regions of the world (loosely) according to Sega.

▮ South America
▮ Asia
▮ Africa
Order of precedence
Historically, Sega has seen the world differently to many global organisations, so at Sega Retro we have divised an order of precedence when it comes to listing countries. This is not an exact science - with nearly 200 recognised soverign states, many of which Sega has never done business in, it is difficult to accommodate all while highlighting the larger, more relevant markets to Sega's business interests.
Per region or unless described otherwise, countries should be listed in alphabetical order.
