Eight-star turbo speed
On the options screen, highlight "turbo speed" and quickly press (this is Morrigan's "Darkness Illusion" move, later famously used for Akuma's signature "Shun Goku Satsu" move from Street Fighter Alpha and subsequent games). If entered correctly, it should be possible to take the turbo speed past the maximum four stars to eight.
Clean pause
On the options screen, highlight "screen size" and quickly press . Now when pausing the game, the "paused" text will be removed and the screen will not dim.
Appendix
On the options screen, highlight "configuration" and quickly press (this is Anakaris' "Pharaoh Magic" move). If entered correctly, a new "Appendix" option will appear giving you further options.
This screen is notable not only for giving access to all the original Darkstalkers music, backgrounds and palettes, but for its "full" animation mode, which, if the same character is fighting itself, allows a more complete set of animations to be used (thus bringing the port closer to its arcade counterpart).
Note that this menu was not localised, so "Classic" is Darkstalkers/Vampire and "Hunter" is Night Warriors/Vampire Hunter.
