Debug mode

Entering debug mode requires two control pads plugged into the system. During the opening Sega logo, hold C on both control pads until the introduction animation begins. If performed correctly, a sound will play, and a variety of cheats are available to input while the game is paused.

Refill health

On the first control pad, pressing A will refill the player's health.[1]

Invincibility

On the first control pad, pressing C will grant the player invincibility.[1]

Level skip

On the first control pad, pressing A+B+C will skip to the next stage.[1]

Level select and player coordinates

On the first control pad, pressing B both activates a level select and displays the player's coordinates. Pressing B again cycles through available levels, and  START  enters the chosen level.

Acquire weapons

On the second control pad, pressing Up, Down, Left, or Right will award the player with all weapons weapons.

Acquire alchemies

On the second control pad, pressing A will award the player with earth potions, B for fire potions, C for air potions, and  START  for water potions.
