The Eastern European Sega Mega CD debuted in 1993 and until 1995, it was introduced in all markets. The systems are identical to PAL ones seen in Western Europe, with only differences being manuals in native language, warranty cards, catalogues, posters and distributor seals on box or under console. The Bulgarian, Serbian, Montenegro and the CIS countries markets firstly got the European models, but later the cheaper Asian PAL too, in order to lower price for around 20%.
