Yasuhiro Sugahara (菅原 康弘), also known as Gumon and Gummon Sugahara[1], is a former lead programmer at Data East. His work dates back to the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986 with games like B-Wings: Battle Wings, Donald Land and Metal Max (as well as Metal Max Returns on SNES), followed by TurboGrafx 16 games since 1989 with Makai Hakkenden Shada and Silent Debuggers. His early 90's work is relatively unknown, but he was involved in the creation of several games[2][3] and a karaoke machine[4].

Regarding Sega, he has been the lead programmer of Magical Drop, Winter Heat and the Dreamcast version of Zombie Revenge.
