Yasuhiro Sugahara (菅原 康弘), also known as Gumon and Gummon Sugahara[1], is a former lead programmer at Data East. His work dates back to the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986 with games like B-Wings: Battle Wings, Donald Land and Metal Max (as well as Metal Max Returns on SNES), followed by TurboGrafx-16 games since 1989 with Makai Hakkenden Shada and Silent Debuggers. His early 90's work is relatively unknown, but he was involved in the creation of several games[2][3] and a karaoke machine[4].

Regarding Sega, he has been the lead programmer of Magical Drop, Winter Heat and the Dreamcast version of Zombie Revenge.
