This teeny-tiny article needs some work. You can help us by expanding it.
Shigeru "Pigeon" Araki (荒木 繁) is a Japanese mime and former animation supervisor at United Game Artists. In 1996, he was invited by Princess Margaret to give a mime demonstration at the "Gala Night" held at the British Museum, as a representative of Asian performers[1]. In 1998 he had a chance meeting with Tetsuya Mizuguchi on the beach of Katsuura, Chiba[1], which led to his involvement with Sega Software R&D Dept. 9 and United Game Artists, portraying the Space Channel 5 Morolians through motion capture[2]. Later while working at UGA, he was noted to be learning how use a computer so he could create his own CG model animations[1].
