The Sega Schools' Marketing Project is a series of promotional VHS tapes produced by Sega Europe in order to teach marketing to teenagers at secondary schools in the United Kingdom. The project was active from 1991 to 1995, and mainly involved sending video tapes to schools which summarize Sega's marketing tools for 1992-1993 season (including the Sega Pirate TV campaign) such as advertising, sales promotion, public relations, sponsorship and direct marketing (promotional VHS issued on magazines). The project also launched a competition for students to prepare their own marketing strategies to be shown at Sega UK's headquarters.[1]
