A PlayStation Vita version titled Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour Edition was released in late 2011 in Japan, and 2012 internationally.

On 14 April 2015, Sega announced that Virtua Tennis 4 would be removed from Steam on 23 April 2015 and put the game on sale.
