aimless speculation
This is merely me spitballing, but part of me wonders if SZK is a laconism for a family name such as Suzuki. I may be totally offbase, but given the way that name in particular is structured it's stuck to me. The only thing that's a spanner in the works is Sega developers loved welding romanization systems, so Suzuki is sometimes Suduki...

- I agree with the theory (I remember it also being posited on VGMdb[1]), especially since that's common practice in high score tables e.g. Masaki Kondoh being KND in a couple games or Cyber Police ESWAT having TNK (TANAKA), MKN (MAKINO) and KWK (KAWAKAMI).
