Sega used the name Puyo Pop for several Puyo Puyo games released outside Japan:
- the Neo Geo Pocket Color port of Puyo Puyo Tsuu
- Puyo Pop (Game Boy Advance), called Minna de Puyo Puyo in Japan
- Puyo Pop (N-Gage)
All other Puyo Puyo games released outside Japan also use the Puyo Pop monker in their names; for instance Puyo Pop Fever.
