GP World (GPワールド) is a racing game developed and published by Sega for their Laserdisc system in 1984. It was "ported" to the SG-1000 in 1985.
Contents
Arcade Version
The arcade version was distributed on laserdisc, and has not yet been dumped. As a result, very little is known about this version of the game.
SG-1000 Version
GP World uses a third person perspective similar to the likes of Turbo, and sees the player race in a formula one car across various tracks. It is also notable for having a track editor. It is likely that the SH-400 controller was designed with this game in mind.
