Despite crediting 7-up, and the beverage being sold in PAL territories, all references to the soft drink are removed from the PAL version of the game. This means Spot is seen riding a bottle with an SOS message inside instead.

Removing 7-up branding means some of the items needed to change as well. The 7-up logos are replaced with the "V" from Virgin Games, while the 1-up also removes spot.
