Ancient corp. (株式会社エインシャント) is a Japanese video game development studio founded by composer Yuzo Koshiro and his immediate family. Incorporated on April 1st, 1990, the studio is perhaps most known for Streets of Rage 2 and its sequel Streets of Rage 3, The Story of Thor series, and the Sega Master System version of Sonic the Hedgehog.
