Mr. Nutz normally plays in a resolution of 256x224. However, a hidden screen setting is locked behind a hardcoded password, @impo@, that exists in the game's code, but cannot be activated as the "@" character cannot be entered in the game's password system. To re-enable the password, use Game Genie codes NFJT-EC3N + NFJT-EC3R + NFJT-EC3T and enter AAAAAA as a password.

If entered correctly, "PICI PICI GO!!" will appear on the title screen, and the game's resolution will increase to 320x224. Note that if the game is allowed to reset to the Sega logo, the resolution will be reset and the password will need to be entered again.
