Sega GT Online is an update to Sega GT 2002, released exclusively on the Xbox in 2003. It adds 40 new cars, new tracks, weather options, new modes and the ability to compete online.

Reportedly Sega GT Online originally set to be released as an "append disc" to Sega GT 2002, giving that game online support. A decision was instead made to make Online a stand-alone release.
