Shinobu Toyoda (豊田 信夫) was the Executive Vice President and COO of Sega of America, Inc. (SOA) from September 1989 to September 2003, and then was Chief Strategist from April 2004 to March 2008. He was also a liaison between Sega Enterprises, Ltd. and SOA. When Tom Kalinske began as the CEO of SOA, Toyoda was there to give him the lay of the land.
