Clean pause
When paused, press ++ to hide the PAUSED text.

On the title screen, press one of the following:
- HOLD ++ for stage 1-1
- HOLD ++ for stage 2-1
- HOLD ++ for stage 3-1
- HOLD ++ for stage 4-1
- HOLD ++ for stage 5-1
A sound effect should play to confirm the correct entry, and when starting a (new) normal game, you will be warped to the stage of your choice and have every power-up (except for Dinosaurs).
View ending
On the title screen, press HOLD ++. Now when pressing START the ending cutscene will play, followed by the credits.
Start normal game with six lives
Start a normal game between 10:00 and 11:00 (according to the Saturn's clock) and you will start with six lives rather than three.
Play as Manto and Yuna in battle game
Start battle game, and on the "which mode?" screen, hold + until a sound plays. This will unlock two extra characters, Manto and Yuna.
Manto orginates from the 1995 arcade game, Far East of Eden: Kabuki Klash (known as Tengai Makyou Shinden (天外魔境真伝) in Japan) and always has a Power Glove, while Yuna comes from the Ginga Ojousama Densetsu Yuna (銀河お嬢様伝説ユナ) series, of which Hudson Soft had the license to make games for. She starts with more speed than other characters.
Extra battle game rules
When selecting a stage in battle game, hold ++ until a sound plays. Now you can adjust the "time of day" by using and .
Switching between times of day does not change the aesthetics of the stage, but instead alters the rules, changing block positions or floor layouts, or increasing the speed of players. Each "time" and stage combination is unique.
