The Sega Saturn release of Rayman 2 was a planned PlayStation and Sega Saturn sequel to Rayman.
This Rayman 2 is significant as it is presented in 2D (with multiple planes, similar to Clockwork Knight and several other platformers from the era). The project was cancelled, eventually ressurected as Rayman 2: The Great Escape, a 3D adventure released for a variety of systems including the Sega Dreamcast.
