History

Circumstantial evidence suggests that Nuvision's Bean Ball Benny, an equally unreleased Mega Drive title, may have evolved into Guardian Angels Safety Patrol. Programmer Charlie Heath recalls that, at the time of its development, Bean Ball Benny lacked a license. As that game featursd a crime-fighting vigilante patrolling urban streets and subways,[4] it is speculated that it was reworked into Guardian Angels following the acquisition of a somewhat-recognizable license.
