Sapporo (セガ・サッポロ) is a 1971 electro-mechanical pinball table manufactured by Sega Enterprises, Ltd. It was released to coincide with the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo, Japan, and has a similar Winter Olympics theme.
It was updated as White Festival (1976), a "Jackpot Flipper" medal game.[4]
Legacy
Nowadays, Sapporo is considered to be a rare Sega pinball game still in existence. Sega themselves are said to only own one surviving unit.
Interestingly, this is not the only Winter Olympics-themed pinball table to be released by Sega for the '72 Games - Sega also imported Olympic Hockey from Williams in 1972 for sale in Japan.
