Richard Stewart
From Sega Retro
This can be tricky... it's not this fellow here, nor his homonymous son who died in 1936 ... but this James Franklin Stewart , a.k.a "Jim", born in El Paso, Texas in 1927 and deceased in 2011 who had a ranch in Kelowna, Canada, had a brother in London called Richard Davant Stewart... could it be him?... who knows? ... obviously it's not this one also, because this Richard was born precisely in Kelowna, Canada and apparently was born in 1926... who said researching was a easy job?--Asagoth (talk) 18:38, 1 November 2020 (EST)
- Edit: Well... it looks that the first fellow mentioned above is in fact Richard Stewart's grandfather... Richard Davant Stewart born in October 1, 1875 in Tyler, Dallas County, Alabama and deceased on October 1, 1954 in El Paso, Texas, had a son who born there in El Paso called Richard Davant Stewart Jr. who died in 1936 and was married with Mary Vermillion, and one of their sons was called James Franklin Stewart (whose brothers were William Robert Stewart and Henry Vermillion Stewart, both of San Francisco, and Richard Davant Stewart who lived in London)... yep ... I guess is him ... --Asagoth (talk) 20:38, 1 November 2020 (EST)

"Richard Davant Stewart and Mrs. Stewart of Honolulu, T. of H., announcing the birth of a son there Tuesday. Great-grandparents of the new arrival are Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Stewart (the first Stewart... who died in 1954) of El Paso and Mrs. H. F. Vermillion, Eastland, Texas." (mother of Mary Vermillion wife of Richard Davant Stewart Jr. who died in 1936) ... the third Stewart was living in Honolulu at the time... these two books tell of a Richard Davant Stewart III who was maried with "Nettie", but they tell he was born on June 5, 1926... coincidence? ... I don't know what you guys think of this... but I guess is him... --Asagoth (talk) 10:14, 2 November 2020 (EST)
"Operation Nudger"
I evade taxes ... You evade taxes... He evades taxes ...--Asagoth (talk) 17:05, 13 May 2022 (EDT)
- His son Scott Kamana Stewart (who was also arrested in Operation Nudger)... "...born in Honolulu in 1951 but left when he was a year old..." and "...raised in Asia, Europe and Canada, Stewart was making a living in England as a paparazzi, photographing the British royal family, when he realized it wasn't the life he wanted." ... I have no words ... :) ...--Asagoth (talk) 17:33, 13 May 2022 (EDT)
Island Sales Service of Honolulu
In 1949 Richard Stewart was a sales manager at Island Sales Service of Honolulu which was owned by William A. Rose (he was Stewart's best man on his wedding with Nannette "Nettie" Adele Gomes... the cerimony was held at William Rose's home in Honolulu)... in 1952 Stewart was a stockholder in Coast Cigarette Vendors ... legend says (see post by User: Anglobritish... which is Freddy Bailey...) that when James L. Humpert "withdrew from the co-partnership know as Service Games" on April 30, 1955 Irving and Martin Bromley bought his stock in the company and sold it to Richard Stewart and Ray Lemaire and sent them to Japan to start Service Games, Japan... according to us they were sent to Japan in 1952... Freddy Bailey does not mentions a date in that post ... they could have been sent to Japan in 1952 and could have acquired stock only in 1955... but who knows?... anyway... it seems that Stewart in 1949 was not yet associated with Bromley...--Asagoth (talk) 07:54, 29 May 2022 (EDT)

Deborah Jan Stewart ... Richard Stewart's niece and the source of those extremely rare photographs... may her soul rest in peace...--Asagoth (talk) 07:52, 27 April 2024 (EDT)
Helen Plowman Stewart (Helen Fay Stewart)... James Stewart's wife...
I've only just noticed that she passed away last month on September 12th[1] ... she has nothing to do with Sega but she's the one who appears in this photo next to a rather aged Richard Stewart... and it was while visiting her facebook that I found the facebook of her daughter Deborah Jan Stewart (Richard Stewart's niece) and found those rare photos of Richard Stewart that we have, so... may her soul rest in peace...--Asagoth (talk) 17:38, 1 October 2024 (EDT)
