Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima (高橋名人の冒険島) is an action game for the Family Computer, developed and published by Hudson Soft in 1986. It is an adaptation of Wonder Boy, which was released on the same day for the MSX, although the soundtrack from Wonder Boy is featured instead.
An unlicensed SG-1000 port of the game was released in Taiwan, under the localized title of Màoxiǎn dǎo (冒險島). It is based on the MSX version and requires the 8kB RAM Adapter to be played.
It was also released on Sega Master System through a few unlicensed Korean multicarts, such as 128 Hap and Super Game 150. Usually, it mentions the Wonder Boy name in Korean (원더보이), ignoring the official version of Wonder Boy for SG-1000. This might be due to Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima being more fast-paced and lesser difficult than Sega's own version.
