Mappy (マッピー) is an action game, originally developed and published by Namco for Arcades in 1983. Namco ported the game to the MSX personal computers in 1984, being the first port of the Arcade game ever released. This version would be released in United Kingdom by Bug-byte, by Philips in Italy, and by Zafiro in Spain, however, all European releases are available only in cassette tape format. Mappy was also released on MSX2 computers through Disk NG 2, alongside Galaxian, Dig Dug, Pac-Man, Rally-X and SHM.
The MSX version of Mappy received an unlicensed port for the Sega Master System in South Korea, being exclusive to certain multicarts.
