Soldier of Fortune is a first person shooter originally released for PC in 2000, published by Activision and developed by Raven Software. The following year the game was brought to the Sega Dreamcast by Crave Entertainment and Runecraft. The game was controversial at launch due to its high amounts of graphic violence and gore, featuring different forms of dismemberment.
The Dreamcast version is mostly the same as the PC original, and even supports the Mouse and Keyboard peripherals, but it lacks the multiplayer component, and is notorious for having lengthy load times.
