Tetris
From Sega Retro
ACE magazine #35 (August 1990) lists a UK retail price of £39.99 and claims it's "out now". - Hivebrain 14:08, 10 July 2011 (CDT)
Along with that (I have no idea, sorry): is there evidence that Nintendo v Tengen was responsible for Sega pulling back the license? Bullet Proof Software had the license in Japan; the Nintendo case only holds in the US... though BPS is interesting; I thought they only held the computer license at least until 1994 when they made "Super Bombliss", an explosive (literally) take on Tetris for the Super Famicom... or am I wrong? - Andlabs 19:55, 5 September 2011 (CDT)
The list goes on
1989 taito_b.c tetrist tetris Sega Tetris (Japan, B-System, YM2610) 1989 taito_b.c tetrista tetris Sega Tetris (Japan, B-System, YM2203)
from my conversion of MAME's info XML file... this is Sega's Tetris running on Taito's B System hardware (they list one of the System 16A ones as their parent). MAME source has no explanation. I have no clue if it's legit; does anyone know?
maybe I should make this a forum post but eh - Andlabs 17:54, 15 November 2011 (CST)
- the latest MAME svn confirms their legitimacy

"Unreleased"
I am fairly certain this game was released back in the day, but it would be nice to get a source to prove it. -Black Squirrel (talk) 16:11, 26 June 2019 (EDT)
