Beast In Darkness is a medium-sized attraction designed by Sega for theme park venues. Little is known about this attraction, with very few photos or pieces of information available, however from reports, it was a haunted house/ghost train type ride that incorporated sensors and a live actor in a werewolf costume. As opposed to most of Sega's other rides from around the same point, it relied on almost no technology or interactivity.
Plot
"Deep within the earth's core lurks a terrifying beast... hungry for freedom, its favourite snack is children, who will be most welcome in this world of no shadows."
Locations
Beast In Darkness made its first and only appearance at SegaWorld London, staying there from its opening in September 1996 to closure in 1999. At launch, it was the only attraction exclusive to the park, and unusually is not known to of been installed at any other large Sega venues.
